Leaving Bressanone/Brixen by coach, we will reach the hamlet of Latzfons/Latzfons (1160 m) in 30 minutes. The hike will take us to the place of pilgrimage Santa Croce di Lazfons/Latzfonser Kreuz on forest trails and across mountain pastures. On the other side of the famous Dolomite groups line the horizon: the Odle/Geisler group, the Sella group, the Sassolungo/Langkofel massif and the Catinaccio/Rosengarten group. On the other side, in the west, Mount Ortles/Ortler (3,905 m) overlooks the surroundings majestically.
After a short break at the Latzfons/Latzfons refuge, we will make our way back - always with a view into the Dolomites - and return to Bressanone/Brixen by coach.
