A fascinating slide-show illustrates the ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro via the routes Marangu and Rongai all the way to the highest point: Uhuru Peak. Peter Ratter's specialty, panorama photography, takes the viewer into a world of breath-taking landscapes.
In 1979, Peter Rotter wrote his first guidebook on Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. He later wrote books on Mexico, Mount Kilimanjaro/Tanzania, Nepal and Ruwenzori/Uganda. He has travelled the countries and routes he writes about in-depth and has led several trekking excursions in them.
