Linda CottinoAfter working for four years as Chief Editor, from 2002 on I worked as Managing Director of the ALP. My previous professional experiences were social and radio journalism, and editorials with some of the biggest Italian publisher’s as an editorial and a translator.In the series “Licheni” of the Publisher Vivaldi, I published “Qui Elja, mi sentite?”; it’s the reconstruction, written as a novel, of the tragic expedition in the 1974 on the Pik Lenin, in the Pamir Mountains, where eight alpinists from the USSR died. Since one year I have been working as an assistant director of this series. | |

Markus LanzThe IMS® Congress will be presented by Markus Lanz.The IMS® is very pleased to have gained Mr. Markus Lenz, one of the most popular TV presenter of the German Television. The ZDF-showman, born in South Tyrol will present our talk show “Unser Berg-Berge unser” at the IMS@ Forum. After the secondary school at the Vizentinum in Bressanone, began his career as a journalist at the Radio Hamburg. He was especially well-known by a lot of people presenting the TV programme “Guten Abend RTL” and the magazine programme “Explosiv”. Since 2008 Markus Lanz has been working for the German Television ZDF in the talk show “Markus Lanz” and the cooking show “Lanz kocht!” and other television formats, like “Das will ich wissen”. The free time activities which he prefers, are hiking. In he past he was a member of an expedition to the North Pole and other travels to Groenlandia, Ethiopia, Malawi and Kenia. | |

Ernst VogtHe studied English and Romance Language and Literature, Political Science in Augsburg and in Southampton. Since 1981 he has been working at the Bavarian Radio (“Bayerischer Rundfunk”) and since 1987 he is the Managing Director of the Editorial Office for Mountaineering. He supervises and presents the broadcasts “Bayern 1 – Rucksackradio” and “B5 Aktuell for mountaineers”. Furthermore he is the author of various radio features about alpine and international mountain issues. | |
