The mountains are landmark of many regions. So it seems obvious to use them for advertising. Wherein is the border to benefit, use and capitalize on them? How many human being tolerates the mountain? Do we have already overdrawn? People with different backgrounds give their opinions in a round table discussion, if the direction, we head for, is the right one.

| Dr. Hans Berger - Born on December 4th, 1947 in Selva dei Molini (Mühlwald), he is living in Riva di Tures, married, two children; hotelier, farmer, businessman. Since 1993 Member of the Parliament of the Province and of the Region, until 1998 President of the Third Legislation Commission of the Province; from July 1996 until March 1999 Member of the Regional Land Register and Cadaster. | Prof. Dr. Thomas Bausch - 1959: born in Stuttgart 1992-1993: Managing Director of the Institute for Tourism Since 1994: Managing Director of the Alpine Research Institute (AFI), Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Upper Bavaria) with national and international programs about the regional development and tourism in alpine regions; Since 1998: visiting professor at the University LUB in Bolzano, Course for Tourism and Management, Brunico; Since November 2002: Professor at the Department of Tourism at the University of Munich (HM), with the focus Destination Management, Marketing, Policy of Tourism and Regional Development; 2004-2007: ALPSHEALTHCOMP: “Strengthening the competitiveness of the Alpine Space as a sustainable health and wellness destination”; the trans-national three-years-project was part of the EU Community Initiative INTERREG IIIB Alpine Space Program; Since October 2009: He is working as the Lead Partner of the project DEMOCHANGE, representing the Munich University in the transnational EU Community Initiative INTERREG IV, Alpine Space Program. | Dr. Philipp Schmid - Philipp Schmid, born in 1964, graduated at the University of Applied Sciences (ETH) and of the Seminar of Small and Medium Business in St. Gallen (Switzerland). After the graduation in Biotechnology at the ETH Zürich he was employed as a member of the CEO in some organizations, and as project manager he participated in the foundation of some companies. Today he is an employer, and a manager of projects and events, with the focus on tourism and recreation in alpine regions. He is a Managing Partner of the MP Mountain Project AG, Founder of the Swiss Outdoor Forum and of the Trekking-Friends and he was the initiator of the: www.osuru.ch. | Markus Lanz -The IMS® is very pleased to have gained Mr. Markus Lanz, one of the most popular TV presenter of the German Television. The ZDF-showman, born in South Tyrol will present our talk show “Unser Berg-Berge unser” at the IMS@ Forum. After the secondary school at the Vizentinum in Bressanone, began his career as a journalist at the Radio Hamburg. He was especially well-known by a lot of people presenting the TV programme “Guten Abend RTL” and the magazine programme “Explosiv”. Since 2008 Markus Lanz has been working for the German Television ZDF in the talk show “Markus Lanz” and the cooking show “Lanz kocht!” and other television formats, like “Das will ich wissen”.
