"A Focus on the Mountains"
Each person's focus is different. That's why we have asked ourselves how a director, a painter, a photographer, a businessman and a writer might see the mountains. What does their perspective include? We look forward to an animated exchange of ideas and perspectives - all, of course, with a focus on the mountains.

| Leo Baumgartner - I’m still living in Lienz. I made first made my ascents of the Ice and of the Dolomite Alps with routes 6b. I managed an Alpine School for 15 years; I also worked as a photographer. It was very important for me to write about the mountains/alps, so I wrote a small variety of books. I expanded the journalistic activity 12 years ago and since then I’m working to introduce film productions in the mountains. Currently I’m working as a location scout and as a safety coordinator. A few years ago I developed a funicular railway for cameras and also a 35 mm-camera, which can be used for most of the mountain motives. | |

He took advantage of his formation at a Commercial School and of the history of his family, a leadership in producing and dealing the textile “Loden” about several decades. So they created the brand “Oberrauch Zitt. The sense for innovative development and the passion for mountaineering are reflected in his private life. Maria Grazia Passini - I was born in Fanano, a village in the Apennines near Modena. I am currently living in Parma. This is where I inherited my roots and my deep and great love of the mountains. When I got the opportunity, I changed the mountain trails with the routes in the Alps and further discovered the world of the highest mountain peaks. So was born a passion, and this has motivated me to realize my dream; the alpine ski sports. In the mountains is where I discovered the secrets of their beauty! I’d like to express these secrets into my artistic works, to transmit to everybody the deep emotions that the mountains could give to everybody who loves them! | |
