Slacklining - the new sports trend
Be there and try it out!
Slacklining is a new trend in mountain sports which, similar to tightrope walking, involves walking on a flat line stretched between two anchor points. Lines are usually 25 to 50 mm wide and dynamic, in contrast to static steel ropes used in traditional tightrope walking. The dynamic character of the line causes considerable swerving which the user has to balance out in order to avoid losing their balance. No additional aids are used. Slacklining requires a mixture of balance, concentration, coordination, body tension, creativity and courage.
