6 male and 6 female athletes will compete in the IMS Cup 09 professional contest: The event will be packed with internationally renowned bouldering stars like Killian Fischhuber and Anna Stöhr. Jacopo Larcher and Alexandra Ladurner will be there to represent the South Tyrolean climbing scene. The Boulder Jam winners will also get a chance to compete with the stars!

Winner: 750 €
Runner-up: 500 €
Third: 250 €

The athletes will compete according to the rules of a slightly modified Shoot-Out mode:
There are a total of four routes (boulders). After three routes, three boulderers are eliminated in each category (male/female). The remaining six boulderers move at the time on to the fourth and final route.
The IMS Cup09 will be organised and hosted in collaboration with the South Tyrol Alpine Club (AVS) Bressanone/Brixen (Sport Climbing Department).
